Description:

This isn't just another SENCO role...

We're looking for a fantastic SENCO who believes every young person has potential and is passionate about helping them discover just how far they can go.

You'll be joining a friendly education team where making a difference really does matter. Working with young people with SEND, you'll help remove barriers, build confidence, and give learners the support they need to thrive.

You'll be based in Boscombe, working alongside tutors, families, and external professionals, with some travel between centres.

So, what will you be getting up to?

A little bit of everything! You'll be:

* Leading and developing SEND provision.

* Assessing learners' needs and creating individual support plans.

* Supporting and inspiring tutors to deliver inclusive learning.

* Building great relationships with families and external professionals.

* Coordinating reviews, referrals, and learner support meetings.

* Sharing your knowledge, offering guidance, and helping the team continually improve.

Essentially, you'll be the go-to person for all things SEND, making sure learners get the support they deserve and staff have the tools to provide it.

What will you bring to the party?

You'll need:

* QTS and a Level 5 or above teaching qualification.

* English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.

* At least three years' teaching experience (post-16 experience would be lovely).

* Experience working with young people with SEND.

* A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

A NASENCO or NPQ SENCO qualification would be a bonus. (not essential)

Qualifications aren't everything. We're also looking for someone who is:

* Kind, empathetic and genuinely passionate about young people.

* Positive, enthusiastic, and full of ideas.

* A great communicator who can bring people together.

* Organised, adaptable, and not easily fazed.

* Happy to share knowledge, support colleagues and have a laugh along the way!

Benefits

* £38,000k pa salary.

* Permanent position.

* Additional annual leave.

* Private medical and dental insurance.

* Health and wellbeing programme.

* Cycle to Work scheme.

* Company events, casual dress, and sick pay.

* Pension

A few important things

* A full, current driving licence is essential, as travel between centres is required.

* Applicants must have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

* The organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. An enhanced DBS check and relevant pre-employment checks will be required.

Sound like your kind of role.

If you're passionate about helping young people realise their potential, love working with people and fancy being part of a team that makes a genuine difference, we'd really love to hear from you!

Sometimes the right person can make all the difference. Could that be you? We'd love to hear from you
