Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Year 6 Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting and enhancing the learning experience of students with special educational needs, ensuring they reach their full potential in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEN students in Year 6.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional development.
Conduct regular assessments and monitor students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to meet their needs.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, working closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Foster strong relationships with students, providing them with encouragement and support.
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each student's education.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and achievements.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience teaching in a classroom setting, preferably with SEN students.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and best teaching practices for SEN students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
