Are you an experienced SEN Tutor who believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the barriers they face?

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and skilled SEN Tutor to join a supportive educational setting in TW19, working with learners aged 16–25 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is more than just a tutoring role. It’s an opportunity to make a genuine and lasting impact on young adults as they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for their future.

The Role

You will deliver engaging, personalised learning programmes tailored to the individual needs of learners with SEND. Working closely with support staff and the wider education team, you will help learners achieve academic, personal, and employability goals in a positive and inclusive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons and learning activities.
* Supporting learners aged 16–25 with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), SEMH, and communication needs.
* Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
* Monitoring progress, recording outcomes, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs.
* Building positive relationships with learners, families, and colleagues.
* Promoting confidence, independence, and life skills alongside academic achievement.

Essential Requirements

✔️ Proven experience teaching or tutoring learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

✔️ Experience working with young people aged 16–25.

✔️ Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification.

✔️ Strong understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive teaching practices.

✔️ Excellent communication, patience, and relationship-building skills.

✔️ A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.

Why Join?

* Work in a rewarding role where you see the direct impact of your support.
* Join a dedicated and supportive team that values collaboration and innovation.
* Opportunity to help learners overcome barriers and achieve meaningful outcomes.
* Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
* Be part of an organisation committed to inclusion, respect, and learner success.

Who We’re Looking For

This opportunity would suit an experienced SEN Tutor, Specialist Learning Support Tutor, SEND Lecturer, Functional Skills Tutor, Post-16 Tutor, or Education Professional looking to work in a setting where they can truly change lives.

If you’re passionate about inclusive education and have the skills and experience to support learners with SEND aged 16–25, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help empower the next generation to achieve their full potential
