We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Chesterfield on a full-time basis, starting in September.

These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Hold a valid Positive Handling / Team Teach certificate
Be calm, patient, and resilient
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Be confident supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs
Be available for a full-time role starting immediatelyResponsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support
Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Using positive behaviour management strategies effectivelyIn return, we offer:
