Location: Various schools across Hertfordshire (Luton, Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, and Welwyn Garden City)

Salary: £90 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent, Temp to Perm, Fixed Term Contracts

Start Date: Immediate

Overview:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our team across various schools in Hertfordshire. This role involves supporting students with diverse educational needs and disabilities in a classroom setting, helping to facilitate an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the SENCO and classroom teachers.

* Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to fully participate in activities.

* Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary to support students’ educational goals.

* Assist classroom teachers with maintaining student records.

* Support students with emotional or behavioral problems and help develop their social skills.

Requirements:

* Experience in working with children with special educational needs is preferred.

* A compassionate and patient approach to dealing with students with diverse needs.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

* Relevant qualifications or training in education or child care (desirable, not mandatory).
