Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)

Smile Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistants ready to make a positive impact this September. We are working with a range of Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Specialist Schools, SEN Provisions and Alternative Provisions across Birmingham that are looking to secure experienced support staff ahead of the new academic year.

We Are Recruiting:

• SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistants (Primary & Secondary)
• SEN Learning Support Assistants
• Autism Support Assistants
• Behaviour Support Assistants
• SEMH Teaching Assistants
• SEND Classroom Support Assistants

The Role:

• Support pupils across Primary and Secondary age ranges.
• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small-group support.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
• Support pupils with EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and school staff.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous SEN experience within a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or additional needs.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to provide references covering the last two years.
