SEN Teaching Assistant
GB Recruitment are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive schools, across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational activities to students with special educational needs.
* Support individual students and small groups to enhance their learning and social skills.
* Help implement personalised learning plans and monitor student progress.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interactions within the classroom.
* Support students with physical, emotional, or learning difficulties to participate fully in lessons.
Requirements
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to meet individual needs.
* MUST be willing to undertake personal care of children.
* To hold an education-based Level 3 qualification (Essential)
* Hold an enhanced DBS or the desire to get one (Essential)
