Description:

We are seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Hornchurch, Havering.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide support to children with autism in classroom settings.

Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).

Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create an inclusive learning environment.

Foster positive relationships with students to promote their social and emotional development.

Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with autism is preferred but not essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanour.

Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
