SEN Teaching Assistant

A caring and inclusive school in Reading is looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who wants to gain valuable experience supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a nurturing school environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing. You will play a key role in helping students access the curriculum and achieve success both academically and personally.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
* Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
* Help implement individual education plans and support strategies
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
