Location: Saltburn Area
Pay Rate: £93 - £115 per day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Empowering Learning is working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in the Saltburn area to recruit experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.

We are looking for candidates with experience supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and/or behaviours that challenge.

The ideal candidate will be:

Experienced working with children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting
Confident supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs
Experienced in managing and responding appropriately to behaviours that challenge
Calm, patient and supportive, even in challenging situations
Resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Reliable, committed and able to work full-time
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs to reach their potential
A strong team player with excellent communication skills

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children is essential
Ability to provide the last 2 years of work history and professional references
References must be provided using professional email addresses
Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to purchase an Enhanced DBS
A genuine passion for working within specialist education and supporting pupils with additional needs

What we offer:

£93 - £115 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
