We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and help us continue our mission of nurturing growth and success in every student.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to stay focused and engaged.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies under the guidance of the class teacher and SEN specialists.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Assist with the physical, emotional, and social needs of students as required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Relevant experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude towards helping children overcome challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
