We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work in various SEN schools in Hillingdon. As a key member of the education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the personalised attention and care they deserve.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs in classroom settings.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised education plans and support strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, promoting their social and emotional development.
Assist with daily tasks and activities, including personal care routines if necessary.
Help to create and adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse learning styles.
Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with the education team and parents/guardians.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal growth of students with special needs.
