We are in search of a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Failsworth. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
Encourage children’s independence, self-confidence, and social integration.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
Enhanced DBS check (GSL Education can support you with this)
