Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Early Years, Nursery and Reception
Start Date: September 2024
SEN Teaching Assistant Early Years, Nursery and Reception Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary school. The ideal candidates will work across Nursery and Reception classes, primarily in a 1:1 Teaching Assistant capacity with Early Years ASD pupils.
SEN Teaching Assistant Early Years, Nursery and Reception Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to children with ADHD and Autism
Manage and address challenging behaviour effectively
Assist with the implementation of the Early Years curriculum
Promote the academic and social development of pupils
Support pupils to achieve their full potential
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children who have ADHD and Autism
Background in managing challenging behaviour
Significant experience in Early Years education (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)
Positive, can-do attitude
Knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
