As an SEN Teaching Assistant for Complex Needs in Tower Hamlets, you'll be central to our efforts to provide essential support to our students with diverse and complex needs. Your responsibilities will encompass:

One-on-One SEN TA support: Offering personalized support to students, ensuring their unique and complex needs are met, and fostering their development.
Collaboration with SEN TAs: Working closely with other SEN Teaching Assistants, class teachers, and staff to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment that encourages the participation of all students.
Resources: Assisting in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources tailored to the specific and diverse needs of our students.
Emotional Support: Nurturing the social and emotional growth of students, providing a warm and caring atmosphere where they can flourish.Requirements for SEN TAs:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN TA role is advantageous.
A genuine passion for education and supporting students with diverse and complex needs.
Genuine passion to support children with SEN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential in the role
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to inspire and engage our students.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
