Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are available for candidates with extensive SEN experience and relevant training. Pay is determined in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
Hours of Work: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
About the Role
Teach Now is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established primary school in Lewisham that prides itself on delivering exceptional support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an experienced SEND team where you'll work closely with pupils to develop communication, social interaction and independence through engaging and personalised learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils with ASD throughout the school day.
• Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities.
• Encourage communication and social interaction.
• Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Support the implementation of EHCPs.
• Build positive relationships with families and staff.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
• Previous experience working with children with Autism or SEND.
• Understanding of inclusive classroom practice.
• Patience, empathy and adaptability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
