Job Description
Job Duties:
Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Support students with their academic and personal development
Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children with SEN
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
Previous experience working in a school setting
Experience implementing individual education plans
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and needs of students with SEN
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid certification
Mental Health First Aid training
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in a school setting
Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
