Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with ASD.

Helping children engage with classroom activities and access the curriculum.

Supporting the development of communication, social interaction and independent learning skills.

Implementing strategies to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Creating a calm, consistent and nurturing environment.

Encouraging pupils to build confidence, celebrate achievements and develop essential life skills.

Previous experience supporting children with ASD or other SEN is highly desirable, although candidates with transferable experience and a genuine passion for supporting children may also be considered.

You should have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to remain calm and positive when faced with challenges. A willingness to learn and develop your understanding of autism and special educational needs is essential.

Why Apply?
