We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a leading specialist provider working within a vibrant primary school in Aberdare. This full-time, long-term position offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with complex learning difficulties in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general classroom support to enhance learning experiences for all pupils
* Work closely with the Class Teacher to develop engaging, inclusive lesson plans
* Support children with very complex learning needs, tailoring approaches to meet individual requirements
* Assist with behavioural and emotional support strategies
* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Promote positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience working with children with complex learning needs or challenging behaviours
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptability and patience in a dynamic classroom setting
* Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or childcare are desirable
* Enthusiasm for supporting children’s development and inclusion
