*** 1:1 support for pupils with SEN needs
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for support SEN pupils with needs such as Autism, Dyslexia and EAL. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant is to support pupils 1:1 within the classroom as well as small group intervention sessions in order to raise attainment levels and ensure the pupils are happy and confident within school.
This is a fantastic primary school in Stoke with a supportive SENDCo who has been with the school for a number of years and has made the necessary changes to support SEN pupils, such as a sensory room, educational toys to be used in the classroom and a number of additional tools. These tools will give you the ability to flourish as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
