Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Needed – Esher
Esher | Specialist Primary SEN Setting
Monday–Friday | 8:45am–3:15pm | Full-Time
We’re looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist primary setting in Esher, supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism and complex additional needs.
The Role
Full-time, Monday–Friday, long-term opportunity
Support primary-aged pupils with SLD, Autism and complex needs
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Support pupils with communication, learning and sensory needs
Assist with personal care where required
Encourage independence, engagement and positive behaviour
Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
We’re Looking For
Confident SEN experience is essential
Experience supporting pupils with Autism and complex learning difficulties
Comfortable supporting with personal care
Understanding of communication and sensory needs
Calm, patient and resilient approach
Confident building positive relationships with pupils
Full-time availability
The school also provides specialist training around Autism, sensory regulation, PDA, masking and supporting autistic learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
