SEN Teaching Assistant
Croydon | Temporary | Full-time
£90 - £110 per day
Affinity Partnerships is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND primary school in Croydon.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), including autistic learners and pupils with related communication profiles. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.
The school is a specialist communication-focused provision that places children at the centre of learning, supporting pupils to develop independence, self-esteem and positive relationships with others.
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Experience working with autism and/or SLCN
A calm, patient and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
