SEN Teaching Assistant
Solihull, Birmingham
Rate of pay: £384.60 - £425 P/W
Starting: September 2024, Full time and long term
Connex Education are working with a SEN primary school in Solihull who are looking for a Teaching Assistant.
This position requires you to support the teaching and learning of pupils. You will be required to work 1:1 with children with additional needs (SEN), mainly Autism and PMLD. On most occasions you will be allocated a specific student or group and work with them throughout the whole of your placement, so you will have the opportunity to build a strong rapport with the pupils.

Role Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning OR Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualifications desired.
Previous experience working in Education would be advantageous.

An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
