Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is currently working with a number of SEN schools across the Thanet area who are looking to recruit dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
ADHD
Speech and Language needs
Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Complex medical and sensory needsYou'll help pupils access learning, develop confidence, build independence and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.
