SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time | 5 Days Per Week | Hounslow
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive secondary school?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Hounslow, working 5 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school-based experience who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping them reach their potential.

Duties & Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional needs.
Supporting students to access the curriculum and participate in lessons.
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team.
Helping students develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
Supporting students with their social, emotional and educational development.
Adapting your approach to meet individual student needs.
Providing encouragement and reassurance to students throughout the school day.
Supporting classroom routines and contributing to a positive learning environment.
What You Must Have
To be considered, you must have:
Previous experience working in a school setting.
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN or additional needs.
A patient, nurturing and supportive approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with students.
A reliable and professional attitude.
A valid DBS or willingness to complete the required safeguarding checks.
