Description:
We are seeking six compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to fill 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant positions for the upcoming academic year at our friendly and well-resourced primary school! The roles are offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.
We have several 1:1 positions available, supporting children in Reception, KS1, and KS2. These roles will involve assisting children with Complex ASD, Visual and Hearing Impairments, as well as Developmental and Speech & Language Delays.
Ideal candidates will:
Hold a level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or relevant qualification.
Have strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
Have experience of supporting SEN (Complex ASD, Visual & Hearing impairments, Developmental & Speech & Language Delay).
Be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with other staff and follow the direction of the class teacher.
Have knowledge of maintaining, updating, and reviewing progress of EHCPS.
Understand Makaton, PECS, BSL.
Have knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.About the school:
