SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently collaborating with a leading Special School near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, in their search for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their passionate team.
Are you a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant located in Cambridge? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals who need personalised support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cambridge.
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £83-£90 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
Start Date: September 2024
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
Assist with day-to-day activities, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in achieving their educational goals.
Address both the emotional and educational needs of students.
Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure individualised learning and emotional support.
Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Prior experience working with SEN is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with school staff, parents, and carers.
Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are beneficial.
Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30.
Must be able to commute to Cambridge.
Right to work full time in the UK is essential.
Must have a Child and Adult DBS
