Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding long-term role within a specialist SEND school?
Do you have the resilience and confidence to support pupils with complex and additional needs?
Are you passionate about helping children and young people develop their confidence, communication and independence?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Wolverhampton supporting pupils with a range of mixed and complex needs. The setting provides a small, supportive environment for pupils who require a personalised approach to education, with a focus on building confidence, communication and life skills.
The school is looking to appoint an HLTA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful HLTA will support pupils across KS1 to KS4, deliver learning activities, work alongside teaching staff and provide consistent support for pupils with complex needs, including non-verbal learners.
The successful HLTA will have:
HLTA qualification or relevant experience delivering learning activities
Experience working within a SEND setting
Experience supporting pupils with complex needs
Confidence supporting non-verbal pupils and those requiring personalised support
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A resilient, patient and adaptable approach
