Role: SEN Teaching Assistant at a special needs high school in Salford.

This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate that all children can make progress no matter their obstacles, live active lives & contribute to society.

Starting in ASAP.
Full time, Monday to Friday 8:15am-3:15pm.
Temp to perm for the right person.
Excellent pay up to £90/day - for the first 12 weeks, then increased from the 13th week onwards in line with what the school would pay you on contract.
Paid PAYE direct by Tradewind.

You will need to offer a holistic approach involving academic, emotional, behavioural, pastoral and physical support.
You will be working in groups of no more than 8 pupils at a time.
Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to deliver the best outcomes for your pupils.
Sometimes you may need work 1:1.

This is a special needs school in Salford for secondary aged children with Autism, Learning Difficulties and other needs.

To join us and be successful in this Salford based SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
Overseas Police Certificates (if applicable).
Minimum of 2 professional references.
Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Some experience supporting children with special needs.
