Protocol Education is recruiting full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary Schools and Specialist SEN Settings throughout Ipswich. Whether you already have SEN experience or you're looking to build a career supporting children with additional needs, we'll help you find a role where you can make a genuine impact every single day.

Your day could include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Helping children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs and Complex Learning Difficulties
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists
Creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment
Celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small

We're looking for people who are:

Compassionate, patient and resilient
Positive, proactive and eager to learn
Confident building relationships with children and young people
Passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday

Experience that would be beneficial:

SEN Teaching Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Teaching Assistant
Support Worker
Care Worker
Youth Worker
Nursery Practitioner
Residential Support Worker
Psychology or Education Graduate
Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
Don't worry if your experience comes from outside a school setting. If you've worked in care, youth work, residential settings or similar support roles, we'd love to hear from you.
