SEN Teaching Assistant - Eastbourne, East Sussex

Academics are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a primary school setting in Eastbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and can provide individualised support to help children access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential.
The Role:
Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs.
Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions.
Support pupils with communication, learning and social development.
Help implement strategies outlined in individual support plans.
Encourage positive behaviour, independence and classroom participation.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to meet pupils' needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
Experience with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs or social, emotional and mental health needs is beneficial.
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
