Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £93.33++ per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Part-Time, Flexible

If so, we at GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you! We are currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Ashford on a part-time basis. This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require additional support.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to support pupil progress.
Following all safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, candidates should:

Have previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Meet all GSL safer recruitment and safeguarding requirements.
Hold an Enhanced Child DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
