Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children with complex additional needs?

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Stourbridge that supports pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly supportive environment, helping children and young people with complex learning needs achieve their full potential. Many of the pupils are non-verbal and require tailored communication and learning support throughout the school day.

Set within beautiful grounds, the setting offers a unique learning environment with extensive outdoor spaces, sensory opportunities, and access to a working farm, providing pupils with enriching experiences beyond the classroom.

The Role

* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.

* Working closely with students with PMLD, SLD, and complex needs.

* Supporting non-verbal pupils using visual communication methods and sensory-based learning approaches.

* Assisting with personal care where required.

* Encouraging engagement, independence, and social development.

* Supporting pupils both within the classroom and during outdoor learning activities.

* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.

Requirements

* Previous experience working within SEN, care, support work, healthcare, or a similar setting is desirable.

* Experience supporting individuals with PMLD, SLD, Autism, or complex needs is advantageous.

* A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care requirements.

* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location of the setting.

* Available to work full-time and start as soon as possible.

What We Offer

* Competitive rates of pay.

* Full-time, long-term opportunity.

* Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.

* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

* Opportunity to work within a unique and inspiring educational environment.

* The chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs.

If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for a rewarding full-time role in Stourbridge, we would love to hear from you
