Tradewind Education is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant who has a passion for making a positive difference for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the whole class, but will have the responsibility to provide 1-1 support where needed. Your responsibilities will include:
Helping the children access the curriculum through differentiating and adpating sessions/activities.
Liasing with the class teacher, other Teaching Assistants and the support team to ensure that the children receive around-the-clock, holistic support.
Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child, fostering their confidence and self-esteem.This role is going to be a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2024 running until July 2025.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, ideally with experience supporting children with SEN.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of the child.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one. What We Offer:
