Do you want to work in a welcoming, friendly environment where you’re able make impactful connections with children? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a warm and inclusive Secondary SEN provision in the south of Bristol and are passionate about making everyday exciting. They’re looking for a keen teaching assistant who has the opportunity to make a difference to their students’ lives and to be part of an inclusive team.
You’ll be working alongside teachers, TA’s various therapist who are dedicated in making learning unique as they shape the students’ futures and support their individual needs as each classroom is catered to children ability. You’ll often find yourself singing along to songs in the classroom and even dancing when the children work with the occupational therapist.
The role is to begin in June and to be rolled into September. We are looking for a full time TA, but can work with what fits your schedule.
About the role:
- Small class sizes of 6-8 pupils, creating strong relationships with the students.
- No prior teaching qualifications/ experience needed
- Monday- Friday (08:00-3:00). Work fits into your life which creates a healthy work/life balance
- £83/ day and paid weekly and accessible routes

- Confidence in learning new skills and understanding specific needs of the children
- To be adaptable and resilient in challenging environments
