Rikama Education are working with a large primary school in Margate, who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
This is a full time position which run until the end of the academic year, with a view of going permanent for the right candidates.
The role:
•To work within the schools SRP (Specialist Resource Provision)
•Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN across EYFS - KS2
•Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
It is essential that you have:
•Previous experience working with children with additional needs, whether that is in a classroom or similar setting
•Excellent behaviour management skills
•A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
