SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Liverpool
Salary: £92 - £110 per day(Based on experience)
Start Date: Immediately

Contract: Full-time - Term-time

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviours.
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
Confident in handling challenging situations.
Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
