Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, including assisting with personal care tasks as needed.
Assist with classroom activities, ensuring that each student's individual needs are met.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Collaborate with fellow staff members, parents/carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, including assisting with personal care, is highly desirable.
A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for supporting students' holistic development.
Willingness to undergo training in personal care tasks and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
