We are keen to hear from a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience delivering purposeful literacy and numeracy interventions and helping pupils build confidence.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £85.50-£110 per day, depending on experience and assignment.
Location: Enfield, North London.
Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
Contract: Flexible supply and longer-term opportunities, depending on vacancies.Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant

You will provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help with reading, writing or mathematics, including pupils with SEND.

Deliver structured one-to-one and small-group interventions under teacher guidance.
Support phonics, reading fluency, comprehension and writing skills.
Use practical resources to develop number knowledge and mathematical understanding.
Record progress and share feedback so teachers can adapt the next steps.What We're Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, or relevant school, tutoring or intervention experience.
A SEN Teaching Assistant who can explain ideas clearly, recognise learning gaps and follow an agreed programme.
Confident literacy and numeracy skills; phonics or intervention programme experience is advantageous.
