APT Education, a trusted, founder‑led Primary and SEN specialist, is recruiting a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant for a warm, supportive primary school in Daventry. This long‑term role starts ASAP and offers a genuine temp‑to‑perm opportunity for the right person.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience supporting pupils with SEN, challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, or adults with additional behavioural or emotional needs. If you’re calm, patient and confident supporting children with additional needs, this is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming school with strong leadership and consistent weekly pay.

You will support pupils with:

*

Autism (ASC)

*

ADHD

*

SEMH needs

*

Challenging behaviour

*

Communication and learning difficulties

Daily responsibilities include:

*

1:1 SEN support

*

Small‑group interventions

*

Behaviour regulation and de‑escalation

*

Following EHCPs and support plans

*

Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher

Calm, consistent behaviour‑support approach

Available full time, Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30

DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
