Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you have experience working with children in a school, care, or support setting?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Primary SEN School in Stockport that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team asap.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), communication and interaction needs, and moderate to complex learning difficulties. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, tailored learning activities.
Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
A patient, caring, and positive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).What We Offer:
