Are you dedicated to working with children with SEND?
Do you hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, or a Psychology Degree?
Are you keen to commit to a long term Teaching Assistant position where you can have a significant impact?
Two Special Needs Schools in Sale and Alderley Edge, Greater Manchester are looking for multiple long term permanent members of staff. You will need to be caring, kind, and passionate about working with children with significant barriers to learning. All children at both schools have EHCPs and you will need to work hard to help them meet their individual targets. Some of the children exhibit challenging behaviour, so it is crucial that you have a patient, resilient nature, and that you have experience of de-escalation strategies in crisis moments. The schools are keen to find long term members of staff who will grow with the team, and as such, they are willing to put in time and energy into training you for your role. However, a Level 2 or 3 qualification, or Psychology degree, would be an advantage in your application.
