SEND Teaching Assistants Required – Multiple Locations across Nottinghamshire

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently working with a range of excellent SEND schools across multiple locations who are seeking committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a day-to-day, long-term, temp-to-perm, and permanent basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a variety of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in safe and supportive environments.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
Assist with tailored learning activities based on individual needs
Promote communication, emotional regulation, and independence
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience is highly desirable)
A patient, caring, and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
