SEN Teaching Assistant required – Gateshead – £85 – £95 per day

This exciting SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a caring and inclusive school in Gateshead with a 'Good' OFSTEAD rating.

This rewarding role is to start after May half term and will be ongoing until further notice. This is a part-time position, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties:

–     You will be required to deliver support to pupils with SEN during lessons with a patient and adaptable manner, displaying strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a genuine passion for the success of your students.

– You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour.

SEN Teaching Assistant of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role you should have:

·       Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

·       The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

·       Experience supporting SEND pupils with Autism and various Complex Needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits:

·       Competitive rates of pay from between £85 to £95 per day (AWR Compliant).

·       Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
