We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bath. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the assistance and guidance they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) to meet students' specific needs
Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence
Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as requiredRequirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with SEN
