As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in providing invaluable support to students with a range of SEN requirements. From assisting with classroom activities to offering one-on-one guidance, your compassionate approach and commitment to inclusive education will help every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
???? Provide individualised support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom. ???? Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities. ???? Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and respected. ???? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic well-being of students. ???? Help implement strategies to promote independence and social integration among students with SEN.
Requirements:
???? Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential. ???? A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of children with diverse learning requirements. ???? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ???? Flexibility, patience, and empathy in working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. ???? Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in SEN support.
