We are currently recruiting for a fantastic SEN school in the Brierley Hill area, supporting children and young people with complex needs. The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and friendly team.
The Role
You will work closely with pupils who have a range of complex needs, providing both educational and personal support throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with complex learning and additional needs.

Providing personal care, including toileting, changing and other intimate care requirements.
*
Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and social development.
*
Helping to create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.
*
Managing challenging situations calmly and appropriately.
*
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to support individual pupil needs.
*
Encouraging independence and helping pupils develop essential life skills.
*
Being proactive in identifying ways to engage and support individual children.
About You
