Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school located in Wirral. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing tailored support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom setting.
Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
Collaborating closely with teachers and SENCO to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Building strong relationships with students, offering encouragement and guidance to help them reach their full potential.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support the unique needs of each student.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse challenges of a SEN setting.What We Offer:

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
