SEN Teaching Assistant

Description:

We are recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistant's to support pupils with additional needs to overcome barriers to learning and promote independence. 

Responsibilities:

Helping the teacher implementation of activities and lesson plans
Providing support to individuals or groups of students in various subjects
Helping students with special educational needs (SEN) and editing materials to meet needs of individuals.
Supervising students at all times
Creating a unified and positive learning environment
Helping teachers assess student progress
Requirements:

Personal or professional experience of working with children
Passionate about helping students and individuals with SEN (special educational needs)
Strong team working skills
Minimum of a high school diploma; a relevant qualification in education or child development is an advantage.
Teaching experience is desired but not always essential as a lot of other roles have transferable skills.
