Salary: £95 – £110 per day
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term / Potential Permanent Opportunities

Are you confident supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other SEND needs?
Would you like to work across different primary schools while having the opportunity to secure a longer-term or permanent position?
TeacherActive is looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream primary schools throughout Leeds.
Schools require additional support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including general SEND classroom support, 1:1 support and small-group interventions. Opportunities are available on a day-to-day basis alongside long-term placements and potentially permanent positions.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEND
Have experience with needs such as Autism/ASC, ADHD and SEMH
Be confident providing 1:1 support
Have an understanding of EHCPs and individual support plans
Be able to support children with emotional regulation
Have strong behaviour management skills
Be calm, patient and consistent when supporting pupils
Ideally hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
Experience within mainstream primary schools, SEND provisions, alternative provisions or specialist settings will all be considered.
